Nanette FLynn
Nanette has been married 36 years to Brian Flynn, better known as “Cowboy” and they live in Lee's Summit, Missouri. Brian and Nanette love spending time with family and have two children, Crysti and Chadwick, and three grandchildren, Ares, Emberly and Keyda.
Nanette has lived in 8 different states and has traveled extensively throughout the world. She is a sought after International Business and Life Coach and Consultant who specializes in relational dynamics, education, accountability and intervention.
Nanette's ability to push through problems and create possibilities started very early in her career and was utilized through her desire as to work with and love people well. Nanette earned a degree in elementary education and taught school for 14 years. During this time she became a Missouri Mentor Teacher through UMKC, authored a classroom management curriculum entitled B.E.S.T. (Boundaries with Empathy bring Solutions and Trust), spoke at an International Teachers Conventions and worked to develop behavioral plans for children at risk. Nanette was hired to train teachers to use B.E.S.T. curriculum at several area school in-service training seminars.
Nanette continued her mentoring and coaching after leaving the education system when she became the Assistant Director of the Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleaders.. She worked with their cheerleaders and helped to develop a successful youth program that worked with over 600 teenagers in the program. Nanette served in this capacity for 11 years and during that time she founded the public non-profit charity Abundant Life Ranch (ALR) in 2006 and her own Professional Coaching business, Destined 2 Win LLC. In 2010 while earning her Master’s in Life coaching and Intervention. Destined 2 Win is employed by ALR to work with their curriculum to provide coaching services and leadership training for young people who have had physical and emotional challenges.
ALR works alongside several organizations that work to educate the public and put a stop to Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking. Nanette particpated in a caucus in Washington DC, in December of 2013 with Shared Hope International and continues to work to provide much needed restoration to sex trafficked victims and their families. Nanette has researched and visited several restoration operations in the US and receives most of her current information through contacts in the FBI, Homeland Security and Law Enforcement. It is the goal of ALR to have it’s own equine facility and several Satellite homes in the future. Nanette has a powerful testimony of redemption and restoration herself after walking though the occult, sexual trauma, a 25 year eating disorder and attempted suicide.
In 2012-2013 she developed D2W's Leadership and Coaching Curriculum and taught the first fall and spring semester courses. She is a sought after motivational speaker and hosts her own Women's Conference called Tell Me I'm Beautiful which has been hosted in the US and abroad in India. Nanette has had or is coaching clients in Brazil, New Zealand, Canada, United Kingdom, Jordan, Australia, Ireland and throughout the United States.
She has continued her education as a Master Coach and is certified in Strategy, Accountability, Time Management, Intervention and Assessment. Nanette has a Master's in K-12 Educational Leadership and is working on her Doctorate. She worked with an organization every May for 5 years to coach a Leadership curriculum to Teachers who teach English in the welfare schools of Thailand as an effort to keep students in school to avoid being trafficked. Nanette would love to be a part of change in the educational system to help students become less vulnerable.
